On the 9th April 1992 Polling Day arrived and after the count King Bee stood on stage with the other dignitaries at Stoneyhurst College to thank his supporters for their votes.

He had a right to be pleased for his 152 votes represented an increase for the Loonies of over 250 per cent.

As King Bee will have it....

"The biggest landslide in political history".

It's as well to remember that, lampooning aside, King Bee and his band of workers (no pun intended)  raised thousands of pounds for charity during the course of the campaign.
